Hearing and balance systems are placed close together within the human body. Hence, it is not uncommon that we come across patients who complain of balance problems along with hearing difficulty. Balance problems can exist in the absence of hearing loss as well and while it persists can hamper with your daily activities. Even bending down to pick and object, or opening that cupboard to grab that masala tin becomes difficult for you. In such situations it is advisable that one undergoes balance evaluation and treatment. The vestibular assessment and rehabilitation unit has a battery of tests which includes, ENG, VHIT, VEMP, Vestibular Rehabilitation Training, BPPV Maneuver and Exercises which helps to address all your balance related problems so that you can resume the daily activities without having a fear of falling.
