Neonatal Screening Project:

This project provides hearing screening services for high risk babies at select hospitals in Bangalore.

Teachers' perception of disability:

This project aims at understanding perceptions and attitudes towards disability among teachers working in regular schools. It is also aimed to sensitize teachers and other stakeholders in regular schools towards different disabilities and inclusive education.

Development of low cost customized audiometer – Under grant from TePP:

A project on development of low cost customized audiometer was undertaken by Dr. M. N. Nagaraja, Director (Technical) as Innovator and Sweekaar Rehabilitation Institute for Handicapped, Sweekaar, under grant from Technopreneur Promotion Programme (TePP), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. The product has been developed and Phase II of field testing the product, correcting the model and calibration will be undertaken at Dr. S.R. C. Institute of Speech & Hearing, Bangalore if the second installlment of the funding comes through.
